Why upload your video to the internet?

This is an easier option for quickly sharing the video.   Even if you only want to share with a few people.   Video files can be somewhat large and you may encounter difficulty sending these videos with email.     We will explain the different options below.

Upload your video to social media

Depending on which site you want to upload your video to,  you may want to edit your video to change the format and  file size.  For example   tiktok, facebook and instagram usually recommends an aspect ratio of 9:16, which fills most phone screens.   They also  have restrictions on the file size and length of the video.     Click here to find out what social media sites to post on

Uploading videos to other websites like YouTube.

To Upload to a site like youtube, you do not have to change the format of the video.  You may still want to trim the footage to only show the driving offense in question.

Uploading to the cloud.

Just upload to show a few people including friends or law enforcement.

Many cloud storage sites , such as google drive, dropbox or One Drive allow you to upload the video to your cloud storage and will give you a link to share with anyone you wish to share the video with.   This option is good if you do not want to share on your social media pages or if you only want certain people to see the video

What to include in your video?

In the description , you can include information such as Plate number,  location, Date/time and your comments about the event
